A.G. BELL Watch D.O.G.S.

At Bell Elementary we love having our Watch D.O.G.S.!! Watch D.O.G.S. is a program that invites fathers, grandfathers, uncles, or other father figures to volunteer at least one full day at their student’s school during the school year. Dads sign up in the office or by sending an e-mail to Mrs. Hay. Watch DOG volunteers perform a variety tasks during their volunteer day. Those tasks include monitoring the school walkways at the beginning of the school day, assisting with unloading and loading of the buses and cars, helping to monitor the playground, and helping student’s with their academic learning in the classrooms like reviewing math facts with the students, listening to them read, or helping a group with a science experiment. Our Watch D.O.G.S. are an integral part of our student’s academic success!

Dads, many of the companies you were for do a program called Volunteer Time Match and being a Watch D.O.G. qualifies! If you have an employer or your company does volunteer time match or if you have any questions, please contact Diane Devlyne-Thompson at

Below is the calendar of available days to WatchDOG. Please contact Sara Hay to sign up for a day by phone 425.936.2510 or through email at
